Zooey Deschanel graces the cover of Marie Claire and I couldn’t be more excited. She is one of my favorite celebrity stylers both on a off screen. The reason for this post is to highlight how her character ‘Jess’ on ‘The New Girl’ has mastered the art of the colour blocking trend; and therefore has inspired me to step out of my shell.
Colour blocking basically means wearing finite blocks of colour. Its easy to do it safely. But, in my opinion it only counts if you are willing to be a little more daring by blending colours that one may not normally match up; for example green/blue or pink/red. I am on a mission to brighten up my wardrobe in the near future and Zooey (Jess) makes this trend look so effortless and cool. I am determined to rock this look sometime this Spring/Summer…or maybe not…..I guess you’ll just have to wait and see.
It seems to me that this site doesnt load on a Motorola Droid. Are other people having the same issue? I like this website and dont want to have to skip it when Im away from my computer.
Thank you for following me and Im sorry you are having difficulties. I will look into this matter further. I have a few friends with Droids and I will see if they have the same difficulty.
